The case report of gingivectomy of Dilantic gingical hyperplasia

Abstract
|
|
|
The authors had made the clinical studies on the Delantin gingival hyperplasia of 11-year-old girl. This patient had showed epileptic symptom complex at 1 year old and, after 4 years, has been administrated with delantin sodium for the treatment of epilepsy.
But, 4 years before, this patient has unfortunately showed the gingival enlargement to; the severity of covering to the occlusal surface of some teeth.
The author attempted gingivectomy to this patient.
Thereafter, the treatment result was very satisfactory and excellent.
